Crush the opposition! The King Tiger was designed to do this and this model certainly follows suit. It's a monster in die-cast metal with a turret that turns, and is removable, and has die-cast tracks that roll on working suspension. The die-cast gun barrel can be raised or lowered and the weathered finish tank body has hatches that open to expose the interior and a detailed engine. The machine gun, repair tracks, tow lines, axes and hammers are removeable!

Supplied in an individual wooden crate. Model measures 640mm (25in) long, 230mm (9in) wide and stands 200mm (7¾in) high (with top hatches closed). Transport crate measures 820 x 420 x 360mm high (32¼ x 16½ x 14¼in).

This 2005 limited edition release includes figures for Battle of the Bulge commander Colonel Jochen Pieper, a tank commander and two German soldiers. The King Tiger is authentically detailed and weathered as a tank serving with 501st SS Schwere Panzer Abteilung during the Ardennes offensive. The turret rotates and can be removed, the main gun can be raised and many hatches can be opened to reveal interior detailing, including the engine. Diecast tracks run on working suspension and a wide range of accessories are supplied including tow lines, tools, repair tracks, tank ammunition and a range of battlefield obtsacles.
