Duple acquired the Hendon, London based Windover coach builder in the 1950's with it came the popular and stylish Huntingdon coach design. Duple continued to supply this bodywork in slightly modified form into the mid 50's. The Leyland Tiger PS1 and AEC Regal were in the early post war years two of the most popular chassis, favored by both the small independent and large group operators. Bere Regis & District Leyland Duple coach GCG 920 is modelled away from it's more usual operating area as it covers a route to Horsham.

A new casting for the Leyland PD2 with roof box is to appear in the livery of red-lined silver livery of Silver Star, based in Salisbury and working the route to Porton Camp and Winterbourne. Registration GWV 360, fleet number 18.

Fastrack is an innovative but rapid transit system serving Kent Thameside, Part of the Thames Gateway regeneration area to the east of London. A 40km network of high quality busways is planned. Fastrack Route B launched in March 2006, features a 5.5km of almost continuous busway and priority measures, perhaps the longest outside a major city in the UK.
