Vanguard 1/43 Triumph 2.5 Pi Cleveland Constabulary Traffic Car (VA08211) The big Triumphs were extremely popular as police cars throughout their production, and indeed some examples continued to be used by the force long after production had ceased, such was the affection in which they were held. OXG 230M was one of the first cars suppllied to the Cleveland Constabulary when it was created in 1974 by almalgamating Teeside Police with some areas previously served by the Durham force. It used the call sign Bravo Foxtrot 2.
Vanguard 1/43 Range Rover Great Manchester Police (VA09603) Greater Manchester police have a 30 year old allegiance to the Range Rover and have used examples of each of the three major Range Rover generations. The force's museum houses a Mk1 example but modern Range Rovers continue to be used extensively to police the M61, M62, M63 and other routes in and around the Manchester area

The chief mechanic decided to swap doors and engine covers of both cars to form a panda effect.
Vanguard 1/43 Ford Cortina MkII 1600GT Lancashire Constabulary (VA04105) Known as ' Jam Sandwiches ' due to the red band around the side of the cars . This car was issued to the Lancashire Police.
Vanguard 1/43 Dolomite Nottingham Police (VA05306) One of the first six Dolomite Sprint's to be delivered to the Nottingham Constabulary. As can be seen they only had 'Police ' on the front door and by now the standard fit of a single blue roof light
Vanguard 1/43 Ford Consul 3000GT Lancashire Police (VA05511)
Lancashire Constabulary used the Ford Consul 3000GT as a divisional traffic patrol car on its non-motorway roads. The livery used by the Lancashire at this time was very unusual and bore more than a passing resemblance to the American police vehicles of the time. The livery remained in use until the 1980's.
Vanguard 1/43 Morris Minor Metropolitan 175th Anniversary (VA05805) This car was used as a supervisors car by the Metropolitan Police and is distinguished by the fact that it has two aerials for the different radio systems it had on board. One was to talk to the 'Beat Bobbies' whilst the second was to keep in touch with New Scotland Yard. The actual car on which the model is based has been preserved in the Met Police Museum.

Vanguard 1/43 Ford Capri MkIII 2.8 injection Greater Manchester Police (VA10802)
Greater Manchester Police loved the Ford Capri, particulary in its later 2.8i form. It was seen as an ideal urban traffic car and was used as a pursuit vehicle at a time when car theft was at an all time high. This particular car was based at Hazel Grove Police Station and still exists, having been restored back to full police specification by its current owner.
